(I got all gains as low as possible -that's 0 on the rp- bass all way up,
treble dead - reverbs and delays dead -

Tone is "where you like it," for sure...
but isn't it good to know if your EQ is active or passive?
Amplifier 3-band EQ's have several formulas for getting tone under control.
Zero is not always "flat" or best. They pull and tug on each other at
different frequencies.
In some designs, 5 or "half" is flat response.
(ah, the never-ending chase for equalization!) <grin>
Any Amp EQ specialists ready to add comment here?
